In Silver’s main role as Head of an application support team, the goal is to ensure that the way our support team works and the decisions made by different IT units increase If’s user’s (and through that – our client’s) happiness. Managing happiness in support team consists of solving over 20,000 incidents per year, keeping a close eye on different monitoring dashboards and alerts, and challenging colleagues with annoying, (but important :)) questions.
And the most important part of the day (the part that doesn’t involve If) he shares between family, friends, squash, snooker, books, travel… and trying to have as much stupid fun as possible along the way.
